First Timers

Well, I am a self confessed foodie and quite adventurous when it comes to trying out new cuisines. But, surprisingly I have always been a little scared of trying anything more eastern than the usual box of Chinese. I did try sushi a few times, but it really didn't cut it for me. (sorry sushi..its not you its me!)

Last week, when my friend UK suggested we meet in Chinatown after work for a quick Korean meal. She is a Bibimbap fan, and since I didn't know any better anyway, I ordered the same thing sans beef (I still havn't gotten around to trying beef).
I am also quite averse to runny eggs...esp the sunny side up kinds. But to my surprise i really enjoyed this bowl of rice, glass noodles, spinach, carrots, courgettes, with some chilli saucy thing topped with the egg. Which by the way didn't taste wierd once it was all mixed in. I really really enjoyed the food and had a fun night with U. Friends with good friends always works for me.
I think we should definitely go for another round soon. You listening U.

Revlon's - Not So Bitten

How frustrating is it have your carefully selected and applied lipstick come off within the first hour of the occasion...!!!

I thought I had found the answer to my prayers in Revlons- Just Bitten LipStain. Finally here was a lip product that promises colour staying power that will last all day. This lip stain has a sketch pen style applicator on one end and a balm on the other. The balm works to seal in the stain. They also have a good range of colours.
But apart from that the stain is only slightly better than your regular lipstick.
The applicator feels too dry. The balm at the other end of the stick is just a stub, which runs a risk of being chipped off if you are not careful while putting the cap back on.

Even though the product didn't impress me much, the customer service from Revlon was impressive. Once I gave them my sad little review, they promptly sent me a gift voucher to mend my broken heart ;P .... which I put to use equally promptly.

Atleast they know how to keep their customers happy. :D

An apple a day..

Change is difficult.

Especially if you  are in denial. Like me.

Last week I switched to Mac. I have been a Windows person all along, and thought of everyone who was Mac-ky as a stuck up-brand conscious dud. So obviously I was furious when I was forced to convert too. RK had converted to Mac about a year ago. And raving about it since. I hate to admit - but he was right. And they really do know a thing or two about product designing. Such sleek and elegant accessories.
I am for now trying to get a hang of it.

As the picture here suggests, I am also trying my hand at photography. Pretty pleased with the results.

Good girl Neha. Now time to go play some more on my new computer.
